CINEA (European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency) runs parts of the Horizon Europe programme targeting energy, climate action and mobility research actions, grouped into Cluster 5. 

A total of EUR 318 million in EU funding is currently available to fund new energy research projects, under call HORIZON-CL5-2026-02 that covers 2 Destinations and 20 topics: 

• Sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply (HORIZON-CL5-2026-02-D3).
• Efficient, sustainable and inclusive energy use (HORIZON-CL5-2026-02-D4).
