EIC-Pathfinder Challenges 2025 (deadline: 29 October 2025)

The overall objective of the EIC Pathfinder for advanced research is to develop the scientific basis to underpin breakthrough technologies. It provides support for the earliest stages of scientific, technological or deep-tech research and development. Pathfinder projects aim to build on new, cutting-edge directions in science and technology to disrupt a field and a market or create new opportunities by realising innovative technological solutions.

The "EIC Pathfinder Challenges" (HORIZON-EIC-2025-PATHFINDERCHALLENGES-01-03: Towards autonomous robot collectives delivering collaborative tasks in dynamic unstructured construction environments) aims to address all construction tasks typically required for site preparation, substructure, and superstructure, as well as the coordination between these tasks to support a transition towards building with autonomous electrified construction equipment.
The specific objective is to develop a building system to assemble a representative and future-relevant structure (pavilion) using a multitude of discrete modules, a development of an autonomous mobile multi-robotic collaborative platform and perform a demonstration in a laboratory environment.

The call should open on 28 July and close on 29 October 2025.
