ECTP has the pleasure to welcome 2 other Applicant Organisations

The following organisations have recently applied for ECTP membership:

Cosentino Group is a global family-owned company that produces and distributes high value innovative and sustainable surfaces for architecture and design. As a leading company, Cosentino imagines and anticipates together with its customers and partners design solutions that offer value and inspiration to people’s lives. This goal is made possible by pioneering brands that are leaders in their respective segments such as Silestone®, Dekton® and Sensa by Cosentino®.
The group bases its development on international expansion, an innovative research and development program, respect for the environment and sustainability, and its ongoing corporate commitment to society and the local communities where it operates, education, equality and health & safety.
Cosentino Group currently distributes its products and brands in more than 120 countries, from its headquarters in Almeria (Spain), and it’s present with its own assets in 31 of them. The group has 9 factories, 1 intelligent logistic platform in Spain, and more of 140 commercial and business units throughout the world. More than 90% of Cosentino Group’s financial turnover comes from international markets.

Universidad de Burgos (UBU) is a medium-sized public university located in Burgos, Castilla y León (Spain).
UBU develops its mission with a comprehensive and quality education, close to the student, focused on internationalization and which, in only 25 years, has become a reference in Spanish university research and in the transfer of knowledge towards business.
Within the universities of Castilla y León, the institution ranks first in global performance, teaching, innovation and research. UBU is among the first Spanish universities in number of patents obtained by teaching staff, as well as in the number of scientific publications in first quartile journals. In this context, it has been accredited by The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R). UBU has 87 research groups in 5 main research fields (Sciences, Social sciences, Engineering-Construction, Humanities & Health sciences) with consolidated prestige in research and scientific publications.
UBU has a long track record in building research, working in different areas, and has participated in 81 projects in 15 different EU programmes, with the role of coordinator in 30 and over 14 M€ of funding received.

With these 2 new applications, there is currently a total of 13 organisations to be formally admitted by the ECTP General Assembly on 7 June 2023.
