The "IC2: Innovation in Construction, Building, Infrastructure and Concessions Congress", to be held in Santander during the first week of June 2026, represents a unique opportunity for international networking, collaboration, and boundary expansion for all stakeholders in the sector.

This international congress will bring together professionals, researchers, companies, and leaders from the construction sector to share experiences, present new technologies, and discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of construction. It will be the first international congress held in Spain on this subject, and in this inaugural edition, Chile will participate as the guest country.

The event will feature keynote speeches, discussion panels, and presentations of successful case studies on topics such as:

• Sustainability and energy efficiency
• New materials and construction methods
• Automation and Construction 4.0

The congress is being organized by key players in the sector: the Spanish Construction Technology Platform (PTEC), the Construction Sector Cluster Network, and the University of Cantabria.
